PNM Rate Hike Details

Now PNM is seeking $123.5 million in a rate increase to cover the costs of its decision to continue its reliance on coal and nuclear, its purchase of the Four Corners Power Plant and importing of out of state nuclear energy when abundant wind and solar sources exist in New Mexico.  To read more about the rate case and NEE’s opposition, PNM Rate Case – NEW ENERGY ECONOMY.  The PRC will vote on the proposed Rate Hike on either September 21 or 28.
