Good Afternoon New Mexico Activists:
There’s so much great legislation being heard this week: 7 Transformational Bills and 9 Priority Bills scheduled so far! Please be patient and read this message carefully. If you’re a football fan, you’re probably getting ready to make your nachos and buffalo wings for the game later today. Before you plant yourself on your couch, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to read this and send a few emails.
All hearings are listed below in chronological order. Transformational Bills are in bold, and you’ll find date, time, bill name, committee name, a link to talking points, a link to participate in the hearing, and committee contact info. Note #3 below, SJR 3, deadline today at 4 p.m. to participate in the hearing.
For Priority Bills, we give you date, time, bill name, and committee name. To get links to participate and more info, go to nmlegis.gov/Calendar/Session, click on House Committee Schedule or Senate Committee Schedule, and scroll down to find the committee listed alphabetically. Or just go to Webcast at nmlegis.gov at the time the hearing is scheduled and find the committee name. If you want to contact members, you’ll find the House and Senate Committee rosters at this link. We can’t include all that info here or this Alert would be 15 pages long!
